The color is canary yellow as in the second photo taken from above. It is a very attractive and unusual color for a candy dish. This dish was made at the Sandwich factory in Massachusetts in the early period just after pressed glass was invented in the late 1820's. There is a little bit of roughness to the edges which is to be expected.
