An extremely fine quality Hepplewhite mahogany sideboard
with the most desirable serpentine form. It is distinguished
by beautifully grained and perfectly matched crotch mahogany
veneers and highlighted with the finest lightwood string inlay.
It was made in New York City circa 1795 and descended through
the Dunham and Barney families of Hartford, CT (provenance available).
It is in original structural condition and even retains its original
stamped eagle brasses.
