- An interesting mahogany armchair distinguished by a carved
back and crest rail and boldly serpentine arms. Made in Boston
circa 1815. In excellent original structural condition, it retains
a nice old finish but is newly reupholstered. It would work
well the other Boston classical armchair in the Gallery. Armchairs
from this period are quite scarce.
