A very unusual mahogany Hepplewhite writing table probably made in Maryland in the 1790's. There is a drawer at each end with the original Chippendale brass pull and the brass casters are also original. The rear square tapered legs both swing out to support the top when it opens. The entire table is made of solid mahogany and the tops are single boards. It is in original structural condition and retains a beautiful color.
