- Federal period sofas in the early Hepplewhite style are
quite uncommon, certainly compared to the much more plentiful
Sheraton style ones. Hepplewhite characteristics include the
square tapered legs and the raised central crest rail section.This
sofa is of a type made in Philadelphia in the 1790's. It is of
a small scale, in excellent original structural condition. It
is in estate (as-found) condition and is being sold as such.
We would be happy to provide polishing and reupholstering at
our cost. We would also be happy to purchase fabrics for our
customers at wholesale cost.
Dimensions are: Length 72" Height

$ 6500.
