This beautiful table is in the Restauration style of the late 1820's and may even have been made in the workshop of Duncan Phyfe in New York City. The crotch mahogany veneers are the finest. It is in totally original structural condition. It retains its original kidney shaped marble top and is the only example of its kind that we are aware of. Because the table is symmetrical it may be used as a center table in the middle of a room as well as against a wall.
