- A superb example of neo-classical design executed in beautifully
grained mahogany and in outstanding original condition. The pull-out
sewing drawer below retains its original marbleized paper lining
and black oil cloth covering which is truly a rarity. Dimensions
are: height 30", depth 18 3/4" and width 22" (40
1/2" open). Made in Boston in the 1820's and attributed
to William Fisk. A nearly identical sewing table labeled by William
Fisk is pictured in "Neo-Classicism in America", Hirschl
& Adler Gallery, 1991, page 76.
